Cabinet of Esoterica
This project reinterprets natural history through a folkloric and esoteric lens. Combining manuscript illumination, cabinet-of-curiosities presentation, celestial diagrams, angelic iconography, and symbolic artifacts, each piece functions as a fictional document from a lost archive - a codex where science, myth, and cultural memory overlap. Drawn from research into herbals, grimoires, proto-scientific cosmologies, and natural history collections, the series examines how knowledge is constructed, preserved, and ritualized. Together, these works form an atlas of the mythic natural world: a space where wings, bones, stones, and stories become interconnected systems of meaning.
