Projects

A curated selection of my ongoing and completed series. Each project explores the relationship between natural history, folklore, and symbolic storytelling.

Langue Verde

An ongoing exploration of natural objects as symbolic language. Seed pods, botanical remnants, and small organic forms are arranged as a visual grammar - a study of how meaning, story, and transformation emerge from the living world.

Flora Fauna and Folklore

A body of work exploring the intersections between natural history and cultural storytelling. Through detailed illustrations of plants, fungi, animals, and understory scenes, this series traces the myths and symbolic meanings woven into the living world.

Mycological Microhabitats

Paintings and studies that examine the intimate ecosystems created by fungi. These works combine scientific observation with folkloric symbolism to reveal the quiet, layered narratives unfolding on the forest floor.

Cabinet of Esoterica

This series imagines an esoteric natural history archive - an illustrated codex where specimens, diagrams, manuscripts, seraphic beings, and symbolic objects converge. Each piece draws from early scientific illustration, folklore, angelology, alchemy, and cabinet-of-curiosities traditions to explore how humans record, classify, and mythologize the living world.
